The Alvarado family was outraged when they discovered another body sent to them, following the death of a relative in Kuwait on January 2, 2025
The OFW was identified as Jenny Alvarado. His family discovered that another body had been sent to them while at the funeral home in Montalban, Rizal.
The family reportedly noticed that the face and body features of the body sent to them differed from Jenny’s real appearance.
Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrator Arnell Ignacio promised a thorough investigation into the incident. Ignacio visited the wake and ensured the immediate conduct of the investigation.
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has also launched its investigation with the promise that Jenny’s remains will be returned to the Philippines immediately.
It was learned that his remains are still in the hospital.
Based on the previous report released by the Philippine Embassy based in Kuwait, Jenny died, along with two other Nepali workers due to coal suffocation.
However, the Alvarado family suspects foul play in what happened.
