According to the Ministry of Interior, Sheikh Fahd al-Yousef has been appointed as the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Acting Interior Minister. The Ministry of Interior will begin revising the application process for dependent visas this Sunday. This announcement follows the publication of Ministerial Resolution No. (56 of 2024).
According to the revised regulations, anyone who wants to reunite their family with theirs must adhere to certain criteria. The minimum salary for eligibility has increased to 800 Kuwaiti Dinar and applicants must now hold a degree from a university. Moreover, their occupation must match their academic qualifications. These measures are taken to streamline the visa application process and ensure that applicants meet certain standards before applying for a family or dependent visa.
