Al-Anba reports that, following the announcement of the decision by the Public Authority for Manpower to allow employees of the private sector to work part-time, an official from the Authority revealed that it is currently drafting guidelines for the implementation and operational procedures of this decision. All processes will be conducted by PAM approved programs such as “easier application”, “easier services” and the Authority website.

Sources claim that a form must be filled out and submitted online. It also needs to be approved by the first employer, and then endorsed by the second employer.
The Minister of Interior will be asked to approve any additional controls or conditions. The decision to allow part time work has been in place since the beginning this month.
