Filipinos Among the Largest Expats in Kuwait.

KUWAIT CITY, March 22: According to a report published by the Public Authority for Civil Information, there will be an increase in Kuwaitis in 2022, with an expected percentage of 0.019%. The entire population of Kuwait increased to 4.7 million, while the number of citizens increased to 1.5 million.

According to Al Qabas, the data shows a rise in the number of kids living in Kuwait from 17 other groups, but a decline in kids from just three other countries: Iran, Ethiopia, and Afghanistan.

There were 3.2 million non-Kuwaitis living in Kuwait; the largest non-Kuwaiti community was made up of Indians, who were followed by Egyptians, Filipinos, Bangladeshis, Syrians, Saudis, and Sri Lankans.

The study also reveals that 35% of Kuwaitis over the age of 15 do not participate in the labor market because they are students, full-time homemakers, or retired people who have a source of income. Just 32% of Kuwaitis are employed, in contrast.

The Indian community had the biggest percentage of workers compared to the magnitude of their labor market contribution, followed by Egyptians, Filipinos, and Bangladeshis. Syrian employees made up a small proportion of the workforce in Kuwait, whereas Saudi and Sri Lankan workers made up a larger proportion.

According to the research, Kuwait has 2.05 million employees overall, with 24% of them employed in the government. With 22% of all employees in the public and private sectors, Kuwaitis are in third place, ahead of Indians and Egyptians. Kuwaitis make up the largest portion of all employees in the public sector, although they rank fourth in the private sector.
