A Filipino receptionist in Kuwait suffered from the hands of drunk Kuwaitis.
According to reports, the Filipino who works as a receptionist was beaten after he refused to serve three drunk Kuwaitis. Eventually, they got aggressive towards the Filipino and started throwing money directly on his face. He was then pulled by the neck.
Later that day, when the spa is about to close, the two Kuwaitis returned to the spa with a face covered and started to stab the receptionist using a screwdriver. He got injuries in different parts of his body including the head, back, and side.
The OFW still managed to fight back despite having all the wounds. He also went to the hospital to seek treatment and proceeded to the police to report the incident. The entire encounter was captured by the CCTV which serves as proof.
The two out of the three Kuwaitis was identified and charges were filed against them. The Philippine Embassy promised to provide assistance to the injured OFW.
“Tayo sa embahada, we will get to the bottom of this case. We will help him find a lawyer, or help him file a case with a lawyer naipagkakaloob sa kanya ng embahada. At sisiguraduhin natin naimo-monitor natin itong kasong ito para mabigyan siya ng karampatang hustisya,” says Vice Consul Adrian Audrey Baccay.
