Hawalli firefighters yesterday succeeded in saving a 33-year-old Filipina who attempted suicide by jumping off a second floor apartment in a Hawalli building. The woman was held hostage inside the apartment for four days, said security sources, noting that firefighters had to break into the apartment and talk the woman out of her suicide attempt. Further investigations are in progress
