JOB HIRING : Kuwait needs more than 300 nurses, medical staff

Good news to our Filipino nurses who are looking for better opportunities.

Private hospitals and clinics in Kuwait are in need of 250 female nurses and medical staff.

The health delegation of Kuwait will conduct an exam on October 18 because of this.

Kuwait is going back to the Philippines to hire nurses through ADM International Manpower Agency, said Dr. Shadya Hakeem, consultant of Kuwait Private Hospitals and Clinics.

By next week, there will be a written exam, followed by an interview for three days.

Applicants must be a registered nurse, must be 23 to 40 years old, and has three years’ worth of experience working in a hospital.

Aside from 250 female nurses, Kuwait also needs 10 female dental hygienists, 10 male/female dental laboratory staff, 10 male/female laboratory technicians, 10 male/female X-ray technicians, 10 male/female physical therapists, and 5 female receptionists.

Hakeem said there is still a big demand for nurses in hospital, whether public or private.

She added that they especially need Filipino nurses as they are good and are hard-working.

Labor attaché of Polo-Kuwait Atty. Cesar Chavez, Jr. said this is a good opportunity because there is an increasing demand for Filipino nurses in Kuwait.

Chavez added that the organization is doing their best to penetrate and talk to the concerned officials in the Ministry of Health for the Filipino nurses who will be working in the ministry.

          A nurse working in a private hospital or clinic in Kuwait will earn as much as P42,000 to P55,000. They will also enjoy benefits such as food allowance, free accommodation, free transportation, and tax exemptions.

            The free MOH Kuwait Licensure Exams for Nurses will be on October 18 in the :

ADM International Manpower Services Company, in 3/F Reliance Center,   #99 E. Rodriguez Ave., Ugong, Pasig City.

            The interviews will be held on October 19 to 23.
