The greatest gift that i ever had came from God. And i call him DAD!
We all have Dads, good looking, the not so good looking, the bad and good dads, shy type dad, rich and famous and corrupt dads, poor but God fearing dads to name a few. Alive or dead we should always honor our Dads.
And what about me? Big question. Definitely maybe?
Yup i am an ABSENTEE FATHER! I am one of the many.
Quite the obvious because i am an OFW.
It’s really hard and tough to be out here without me seeing my beloved children go through their formative years!
I am telling you it’s not easy but it is going to be worth it. Being away from my children takes away the joy and pride of being a father at times but looking on the brighter side it makes me proud seeing them having a much better and brighter future for themselves and for their future families.
Being an absentee father doesn’t mean we can’t create good memories while away.
We make sacrifices too!
We love our kids and their mother UNCONDITIONALLY!
REMEMBER I AM NOT A PERFECT FATHER NOR A PERFECT HUSBAND, I AM JUST TRYING TO BE ONE! BUT UNTIL THEN I REALLY DON’T KNOW UNTIL WHEN I WILL BE A FULLTIME DAD RATHER THAN AN ABSENTEE FATHER. THERE’S A LOT OF WORK TO BE DONE.
