Cebu Pacific has been famous for providing affordable flights to its passengers, but sometimes affordability and good customer service do not go in the same sentence.
In this case, Cebu Pacific is drawing heavy criticism for not treating its passengers well following a two-day delay of a flight from Kuwait to Manila.
At least 400 passengers of Flight 5J7655 have been waiting in the boarding area for two hours when they were told to vacate the area due to the delay of their flight. No explanation was given to them as to why the flight was delayed.
Some passengers decided to wait in the airport, with the hopes of catching a later flight but that, too, was delayed. Again, no explanation was given.
Their wait has spanned for two days and counting as of this writing. Passengers stationed themselves on the floor as if they live in the squatters area. They were not given any food and any accommodation. Furthermore, they were still in the dark on information related to their flight.
“We were treated like animals,” one passenger said.
Cebu Pacific has yet to release a statement regarding this incident
