FIGHTING BACK AGAINST ABUSE : A KUWAITI EMPLOYER WHO ABUSED A FILIPINA IS PLACED IN POLICE CUSTODY. The OFW had been rescued by the embassy car after being sexually abused.

The employer ( right ) then chased the embassy car and harassed embassy officers including the Charge d’ Affaires but was stopped by police, after the embassy officers fought back within legal limits and called 112. Embassy officers under Vice-Consul Tesorero, rescue team leader Mar Hassan, case officers Nabil Tarosan and Salah Magayan, and embassy lawyer Emad Arab coordinated embassy efforts.
Full charges have been filed for abuse of an OFW and harassment of diplomatic officials.
The embassy has a standing cooperation with all police station chiefs and police generals to stop abusive employers, in line with the Kuwait government’s humanitarian advocacy.
