OFW IN KUWAIT VISA 20 TO VISA 18 TRANSFER
Sa aming pagkakaunawa po hinggil sa nasusulat sa balita, Iginawad ng muli po sa ating mga kasambahay o mga nasa Visa 20 o sinasabi sa alituntunin na Article 20 kung tawagin sa batas ng bansang Kuwait. Sinasaad sa balitang ito mula sa Arab Times, na maari ng ilipat ang mga nasa Visa 20 sa Visa 18 o sinasabing “Skilled worker” na sisimulan sa August 15, na may palugit sa tatlong (3) buwan ayon sa Director ng Public Authority for Manpower Jamal Al-Dousari na nakipag-isa din sa Ministry of Interior.
Sinasaad sa balitang ito na lahat ng mga OFW in Kuwait na kasambahay na nasa Visa 20 ay maari na mailipat sa Visa 18 sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa na kumpanya o pagmamay-ari ng iisang amo “employer” o sa pinaka-malapit nitong kamag-anak na may kumpanya, garantiya na ang kabayan ay nakapag-trabaho na sa amo nito ng isang taon mahigit sa kanyang amo.
Pagktapos ng masusing pag-aaral ay napag-desisyunang makipag-isa sa Ministry of Interior na mapayagan itong mailipat sa pagkakataong ito.
Aming muli pong ipinababatid sa lahat na ito ay depende sa inyong Employer kung kayo po ay pahintulutan mailipat ng maayos po.
THREE – MONTH WINDOW TO TRANSFER FROM DOMESTIC
KUWAIT CITY, July 25: Director of Public Authority for Manpower Jamal Al-Dousari says the authority has collaborated with the Ministry of Interior to allow transfer of Article 20 Visas of domestic workers to work permits in the private sector for three months starting from August 15, reports Al-Seyessah daily.
In a press statement, he said the domestic workers will be allowed to transfer their residence to the private sector under the same employer or under any of his close relatives after spending one year in the country.
Al -Dousari revealed that the authority reached an agreement with the Ministry of Interior to allow such transfer of domestic visas to work visas of private sector for the last time, after which the situation of the local labor market will be studied. The authority will also study the need for bringing expatriate workers from abroad on work permits based certain regulations which the authority will announce later.
He appreciated Assistant Under secretary for Citizenship and Passport Affairs Major General Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarah for collaborating with the authority and easing the procedures for the good of the Kuwaiti labor market and employees.
